BRINGING THE NEWEST ADVANCEMENTS IN AESTHETIC MEDICINE TO YOU
FaceTite, AccuTite and Embrace RF are the most exciting new additions to our practice. Using RFAL (radio frequency assisted lipolysis) we are now able to achieve results that previously could only be seen with surgery. You no longer need incisions, stitches, and a long recovery to achieve real results.
Traditional facelifts and other facial surgery can require multiple appointments, invasive surgery, and a significant period of downtime. While results can be great, this isn’t the best fit for everyone. If you have a busy lifestyle or would prefer minimally invasive treatment, AccuTite and FaceTite precision skin tightening is one of the safest and most effective procedures currently available.
Dr. Braunstein is bringing the newest and highest level of non surgical treatments to our patients in Morristown, New Jersey. She is raising the bar by pairing the best technology with the best specialized cosmetic plastic surgery care available today.
She is the first, and only, oculofacial plastic surgeon trained to offer you accutite around the eyes in the entire state of New Jersey.
What Is Radiofrequency Energy And How Does It Work?
Like any form of energy, RF has the capacity to produce heat—and while each brand-name application uses a slightly different technology, all work by heating the skin’s deeper layers to induce new collagen and elastin production and encourage cell turnover, helping skin become firmer, thicker and more youthful-looking.
An advantage of using RF to heat tissues, as opposed to lasers (which use higher-frequency light waves), is that the lower frequency of RF can safely penetrate to a deeper level, helping to improve skin tone and structure, even lifting tissues. Lasers for the most part work to improve the skin’s surface. Moreover, RF can safely treat more patients with different skin tones without risking permanent discoloration
What are FaceTite and AccuTite?
FaceTite and AccuTite are safe and effective non surgical tightening and contouring procedures. They offer a new, less-invasive option to the traditional facelifts, browlifts and eyelifts. You can achieve noticeable and natural results without the scars or downtime of surgery.
- AccuTite and FaceTite can be performed in the comfort of our office.
- There are no scalpels or incisions
- Precision-guided heating provides maximum results with maximum comfort
- Treatment is performed under local anesthesia
- Fast and effective treatment, performed in minutes not hours
What areas do they treat?
FaceTite and AccuTite can be used on any facial area that could benefit from tightening and smoothing. Areas commonly treated include:
- The brow line
- The periorbital region – The area around the eyes
- Nasolabial folds – a.k.a. Parentheses line around the nose and mouth
- Sagging jaw line – a.k.a. The jowls
- Double chins and neck area
- Other small areas of the body
Who is a good fit for FaceTite and AccuTite?
FaceTite and AccuTite are great for anyone looking to improve the appearance of wrinkles, folds and sagging areas of the face without the need for general anesthesia, sedation, incisions or downtime.
How do FaceTite and AccuTite work?
FaceTite and AccuTite use radiofrequency and heat to create precision tightening and contouring to the face. This is achieved with a small needle point, so no incisions, scars or sutures are needed. They also use built-in safeguards, such as real-time measurements of skin and fat temperature, impedance monitoring, and power cut-off with audible feedback to ensure client safety and comfort.
What Is EmbraceRF?
EmbraceRF is a non-surgical facelift that is the combination of two treatments: FaceTite and Morpheus8, combining radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis with radiofrequency skin resurfacing. Small probes are inserted just underneath the surface of the skin, and excess fat is melted with radiofrequency energy, then suctioned away. Simultaneously, radiofrequency energy is applied to the outside of the skin for a tightening effect.
Candidates for EmbraceRF
Men and women in the 30’s to 60’s age group who are bothered by excess fat around the chin, poorly defined jawline, jowls, deep nasolabial folds and loose skin, but who are not yet candidates for a surgical facelift or neck lift surgery, are good candidates. An in-person consultation is necessary to evaluate individual candidacy.
How Does EmbraceRF Work?
EmbraceRF is minimally invasive radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) procedure. EmbraceRF uses a thin cannula with an internal electrode that is inserted through a tiny incision. Attached to the cannula, but resting atop the skin, is a metal wand that features an external electrode. The radiofrequency energy heats the fat and surrounding tissues without damaging those tissues. The liquefied fat is then suctioned away via liposuction. In appropriate cases, more aggressive liposuction of the neck and chin areas are performed for the best results. RF microneedling with Morpheus8 is performed on the entire face as the last step. The RF energy that has heated the dermis layer of the skin stimulates collagen production, causing the skin to tighten, firming the area.
EmbraceRF helps address the following concerns:
- Sagging neck skin
- Jowls and sagging jawline
- Excess neck and jawline fat
Morpheus8 RF microneedling helps improve skin tone, texture, pigmentation, fine lines, and acne scarring.
Benefits Of EmbraceRF
EmbraceRF is a minimally invasive, minimal downtime, non-surgical neck lift with the means of correcting loose skin and mild excess fatty tissue, especially in the lower face and neck areas. It’s especially effective at treating:
- Skin laxity, especially at the neck and jowls
- Double chin
- Deep lines and facial folds
- Poor skin texture
EmbraceRF works at both superficial and deep layers of your skin to give you comprehensive rejuvenation. Most patients only require one treatment. Results are seen at 6-8 weeks after treatment and continue to improve for the next 6-12 months. Once final results are achieved, they are permanent.
The procedure is done with local anesthesia in the office. Additional oral sedation can be given as well. Once the area is anesthetized, a small probe is inserted underneath the skin to deliver the radiofrequency energy to the deeper layers of tissue. Another part of the handpiece is applied externally to the skin at the same time.
How Long Does An EmbraceRF Neck Tightening Procedure Take?
For neck and lower face tightening, Dr. Braunstein usually needs 60-90 minutes, depending on the case. The patient only requires local anesthesia and oral sedation in the form of a pill. Depending on your unique situation, the number of entry points for the thin cannula will vary.
